Here I will be talking about a famous anime writer who's name is Akira Toriyama and I will be talking about some of his best works which is the Dragon Ball series.
Toriyama first created a manga series which became mainstream and it was called Dr. Slump. After this he started his greatest work Dragon Ball. Akira Toriyama created an anime series which started off with the show called Dragon Ball. The shows eventually became so popular that people want even more of it so Toriyama decided to continue the series. He then planned to continue the series with Dragon Ball Z. With this these two products, he allowed others to make movies based on his show.

There are no specifics on his salary but it is stated that his net worth currently is $45 million. I all I can say about his salary is that he most likely gets paid significantly higher than the average manga artist or anime maker which is 1.1 million yen($10,000)

Like I said previously, Akira Toriyama sells his content. He has allowed people to create movies with his content and he even allowed people to make an entire series with his work. A pretty famous non-canon series(series where the work isn't apart of the story) was made by Fuji TV and Toei Animation which are both pretty famous anime companies. The series was called Dragon Ball GT.
